1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Integrated Reality Labs, Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Manhunt app, the manhuntgames.com website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, password (if you sign up with email), optional profile photo, and sign-in details from Sign in with Apple or Google.
  • Group and game activity, such as the groups you create or join, game modes (including Senior Assassin, Manhunt / Tag, and Hide & Seek), capture and safe zones, abilities, captures, and other in-app activity.
  • Group chat content, such as text messages, photos, videos, voice messages, polls, stickers and GIFs, and locations you share in chat.
  • Location information, including precise location, collected while the app is open and, if you allow it, in the background, to share your live location with members of your groups and to power gameplay features such as zones, proximity, and location history.
  • Nearby device information, such as Bluetooth signals used to detect when other players are nearby during a game.
  • Device and usage information, such as device type, OS, app version, push notification tokens, advertising identifiers (where permitted), analytics events, crash reports, performance data, and logs.
  • Support communications and report/submission details.
  • Transaction metadata for Manhunt Pro subscriptions (billing is processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe, and we do not store full payment card data).

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Share your live location and location history with members of your groups and power location-based gameplay, zones, and nearby detection.
  • Deliver group chat messages and media.
  • Send push notifications, game alerts, and account communications.
  • Process and manage Manhunt Pro subscriptions.
  • Show ads and measure their performance.
  • Respond to support requests and enforce our policies.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Improve product performance, reliability, and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information:

  • With members of your groups, who can see your name, profile photo, live location, location history, game activity, and the chat content you send in that group.
  • With service providers that help us operate the Services, such as hosting and database providers, Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring), RevenueCat (subscription management), Stripe (web payments), Klipy (sticker and GIF search), and push notification services.
  • With advertising and measurement partners, such as Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage information to serve and measure ads, and partners that help us understand how people find and install the app.
  • With platform partners (such as Apple or Google) for app distribution and billing.
  • When required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
  • To protect rights, safety, users, or the integrity of the Services.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Location Data and Controls

Manhunt is built around sharing your location with the members of your groups. Gameplay features require location access, and some features, such as live location sharing while the app is closed, require background location access. Nearby detection uses Bluetooth.

You can control location and Bluetooth permissions in your device settings, and you can stop sharing your location with a group by leaving it. If location or Bluetooth permissions are limited or disabled, certain features may not function fully.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and legal obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from the app's account settings, or request deletion by contacting us. See how to delete your account.

You can limit ad tracking and personalized ads through your device settings (such as App Tracking Transparency on iOS or ad settings on Android), and you can turn off push notifications in the app or your device settings.

9. Children

The Services are not intended for users who are prohibited by law from using them in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child submitted personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice for material changes.
